Folder templates cause errors. That's a known fact. When you use the
System wide hotkey or the tooltray icon to start a new message, you
are in "pot luck" city if you use folder templates extensively.

I use and recommend Address Book templates for general use because of
that situation.

If address books become folder specific, that escape route is lost.

Having to navigate to different folders to make sure a new message is
created in the right context with the right template and the right
address book available would be a real pain in the butt.
