Yes. Remember that they usually only carry addresses offered freely.
So, if you want the private address of your boss, which he keeps
secret, you won't get it through LDAP. Read "e-mail address" for
"address".

Not AFAIK. Just check it, by making an LDAP search through TB!, which
is very easy. If you are on a pay-per-minute dial-up, consider that
these could take some minutes.

Good question, I don't know. Since in the USA address lists can easily
be harvested without legal problems, I would think so. It may also
depend on the one who offers the service (Bigfoot might sell
addresses, others may even use filters against Bots).
