Hi
I have a task where I want to apply colour groups and can't quite
figure out how (or if) I can do this in an easier way.
What is the easiest way to apply a colour group that you will
apply as you are reading messages? For example, I have a colour group
called To Respond and these are messages that I plan to write responses on
later. Also, I have a colour group called To Do where I need to do
something later on as a result of the message. I realize that I can
right click on a messsage and then scroll down the list and select the
colour group to apply. But, this is a bit tedious. So, is there some
way to apply the colour group through a keystroke or through a filter
(without moving the message to another folder).
I know that for messages in the inbox, for example, I can set up a filter and give it
a hot key and can then use the hot key to quickly apply a filter.
But, I can't use that filter on messages in other folders because it
will then move the messages to the inbox. I can set up a filter for
each folder, of course, so that message doesn't move but I have many
folders and doing a filter for each folder is impractical. So, is
there any way to apply the colour group individually on a message
without then moving the message and without having to set up a filter
for each mailbox?
