I'm way out of my depth here but... you do know you can edit the
shortcut in windows so that TB splash screen doesn't appear at all. I
think and I could be wrong you add '\nologo' (I'm sure someone will
reply to confirm) to the exec line. Looking at what you're saying
perhaps by launching without it it might solve your problem?
