-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Andrew et al., Organizer 5.0 and above has three separate ways to journal information, depending on your requirements. (1) In the Calendar's "planner view," there is a space called "Daily Notes." I'm sure there's a limit to the data that could be entered, but I've never hit it. The advantage is that it is handy and tied to the day. The disadvantage is that searches cannot be run on the Daily Notes field. (2) There's a powerful "Notepad" feature. This is something that can take rich text, images, OLE links, embedded material from other apps, or shortcut links to other files. So it would be possible to use this part of the program for journaling. (3) Depending on the nature and size of the data you are going to record, you could put it in a word processing or notepad file and link to it through Organizer, whether from the day or from a notepad entry. Although I think Organizer is the PIM to beat, if journaling/diary entries are what you need, you might look into Zoot. Zoot has journaling capacity, including search capabilities, that are beyond what most mortals need, as well as other information processing and PIM functions. Contact addresses do not pass to TB!, and I don't know how one could use it for data merge operations although perhaps there's a way. I myself use it for info processing, but not for PIM functions. To stray even farther into OT territory, Zoot is set up to add ultra-functional PIM capability to MS Outlook by synching with Outlook but providing turbo-charged cpabilities beyond what that program offers. If you're familiar with Lotus Agenda, Zoot is Agenda on steroids; however you'll need crampons to climb the learning curve. L> Hello Joseph, L> L> I recently asked a similar question on the powertoolssoftware list on L> Yahoo!. I ideally wanted something robust, something to sync with Palm L> and ideally work with TB! _but_ I also wanted a diary feature - as in L> to keep track of what happened that day (rather than just L> appointments). Someone on the list said that organizer can't really L> handle that easily.
