Hi Tim,

On 25 September 2001 at 15:05:11 +0100 (which was 15:05 where I live)
Tim Rowe wrote to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and made these points:

TR> Sometimes, when replying to a message I've noticed that when I
TR> press 'enter' and try typing on a new line, the cursor 'jumps
TR> back' to the end of the line above.

TR> What is this?

This is the result of using the auto-format. The only way TB's editor
knows where one paragraph ends and the next one begins is when you use
an intervening blank line. When you only have a single 'enter' and
begin typing, auto-format reformats as you type and this leads to the
paragraphs being merged back together.

To stop this you can either turn off auto-format or train yourself to
separate paragraphs with an extra blank line (as I have).
