Hello Johan, At 2:34 AM on Wednesday, October 24, 2001 you wrote the following on the posted subject 'Template to subfolders':
Johan> Is it possible to apply a template to all the subfolders of a folder? Johan> I want to change the tempalte of a folder, do 'i have to redo it Johan> for all the subfolders too? This is not a direct answer to your question but you might consider grouping AB entries (that may cross many folders) & create templates for the AB group. This method can potentially include many folders. For example Let's say you have a personal mail folder. Except for personalized greetings, any new msg or reply to any of these people (some of whom might have separate folders) could be addressed in a 'friendly' way vs the more formal greetings of business correspondence. All your 'personal' correspondence can be filtered to subfolders by person or country or whatever criteria you select but the AB entries (all in a personal AB group) would have one template. So no matter where your cursor lands, if you select one of those names to create a new msg or to reply to an old one the one template will come into play. I hope this makes sense & I've explained it correctly.. I believe TB! looks @ templates in the following order: AB entry AB group Folder Default -- Jan Rifkinson Ridgefield, CT USA TB!
