As far as I know, this has always been the way it worked. It's deliberate and a fail-safe measure. At times with slow connections, yes, I'd see TB! download a few messages, delete them and then move on. I haven't been using the CC since its introduction so I didn't note any change. This is an excerpt taken from a message written by Stefan Tanurkov in reply to another user on the TBBETA list: <start excerpt> > 1. Most POP currently implement asynchronous mode, means if message > successfully download by POPClient, it will delete by POPServer > without waiting QUIT command. This is bad practice and may lead to losing messages easily. For example, if your PC suddenly gets switched off (power failure, a baby pulled the plug out, etc). Because we know about such servers, The Bat! sends the DELE command only when it has messages stored in its message base, this is done in parallel to the receiving process and it can be slower when fast connection is used. </end excerpt> - -- Allie C Martin List Moderator (and fellow end-user) PGP Key: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=PGPPubKey1 [MUA: TB! 1.54/10 (*) OS: Win2K SP 2] __ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: Sealed for Security iEYEARECAAYFAjvaQkMACgkQV8nrYCsHF+ISLgCgsa8rttlnDM6+xhf9drYiRGZF FLwAoJfwZSvNw4Bc1m0FmxOWk9v7a8sh =Cd9i -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
