I am archiving my messages and attachments by exporting them to
Unix-style files and, when necessary, appending additional messages.
My question concerns attachments.

My system is configured to store incoming attachments within message
bodies, and also to delete attachments when the related message is
deleted.

I am assuming the following, but please let me know if this is correct
or not. I am assuming that incoming attachments will continue to be
stored in the archived Unix-style files even after the related
messages are deleted from TB!'s mailbox folders. I am also assuming
that outgoing attachments will not be stored in the Unix-style archive
after the file (which was attached) is independently deleted from my
system.

Yes? No? All help greatly appreciated.
