This is perhaps the main limitation with using PGP and the TB! plug-in. The current setup works fine only for those who use a single key or for those who normally don't cache their pass-phrase. The only way around this is to disable pass-phrase caching. Whenever the dialog appears for you to sign, you can then pick the appropriate key from the drop down list. The GnuPG plug-in, on the other hand, implements smart-matching. It will check the From name and address combo and use for signing, the key that uses that UID. It has one disadvantage in that the UID which is the name and e-mail address combination must exactly match that of a UID on a key. Just a matching e-mail address isn't enough. I've tailored my UID's to match the various identities that I use so I'm hooked on using GnuPG since the appropriate key is automatically selected as needed for signing. - -- Allie C Martin -- List Moderator and fellow end-user PGPKey - mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=PGPPubKey1 [MUA: TB! v1.54/10 (*) OS: Win2K SP 2] __ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.0.6 (MingW32) Comment: Sealed for Security iEYEARECAAYFAjviLiQACgkQV8nrYCsHF+IiagCeNd0vbRbvjBM6qn1JAaE4bY2O gn0AoIIJbLWPRiHxPUkTQb5/pV7+V7Au =bHho -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
