YT> Couple of questions along that line, however:

YT> 1) Would I need to uninstall before doing a reinstall?

No, you shouldn't. I've never uninstalled my current TB! installation
which I installed in April 1999!! It has survived OS upgrades and OS
reinstalls. I install new full releases on top of it.

The thing is that I always move forward and rarely go backwards in
versions. If I move backward it's only one step. This is important
because new features may interfere with previous versions that don't
support the new features/formats.

YT> (The reason for the question is that TB is located in the same

You won't have to. The installation process just updates files in the
TB! installation directory creates the necessary system associations
etc. It will not interfere with current use specific settings, nor
will it interfere with message bases.

YT> 2) If I reinstall over the current installation, would the database
YT> remain intact?

Yes, it would.

Of course, it wouldn't hurt to backup. :-)
