Hello David,

An archeological dig discovered that on Thursday, November 8, 2001 at
17:03 GMT -0500, David Cohen [DC] typed the following:

DC> Two computers which are networked (peer to peer under Win 95) each
DC> connect to the internet via cable, and therefore under Options -->
DC> Network and Administration, select "Local Area Network or manual
DC> connection." Is that the option referred to as "local delivery?"

No. There is an option at the bottom of that dialogue box.

DC> I am interested, because presently TB communication between the
DC> two computers is through the SMTP and POP servers, and I would
DC> much prefer to communicate directly if that is possible.

You'd need to use the setup described by Roelof, or set up your own
mail server on your network. Either way, your server computer will
have to remain on all the time. If that's not desirable, then you
need to use the external mail servers.
