If yes how must I specify the field names in the EC> 'Search filed'? Unfortunately, it isn't easy within TB. There are a couple of options, none are ideal. 1. Create a filter with the desired criteria. Have it *copy* the found messages to a temporary folder. This solution is tedious, but it works. Also, be careful that you don't *move* your messages with the filter. That could lead to the loss of mail. 2. Create a regular expression to do the search. If you're comfortable with regular expressions, it isn't a bad option. However, for most searches it isn't worth the effort. 3. Do a search on one field, copy the search results to a temp folder then do another search on the second field, but this time search the contents of the temp folder. This one is pretty good, but still not as convenient as it should be. 4. Use an external program. People have reported that they really like a program called Mailbag Assistant for their archiving needs. I personally haven't used it, but I have yet to hear a negative comment about this program. The drawback of this solution is that the program isn't freeware. However, it does allow you to migrate between many different e-mail programs with ease (at least, that's what the marketing department says.) <http://www.fookes.com/mailbag/index.html> -- Thanks for writing, Januk Aggarwal Using The Bat! 1.54/10 under Windows 98 4.10 Build 2222 A I was the next door kid's imaginary friend. -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
