You may be right about the coding; since I am not a programmer I won't
know.
The complete PGP delimiting lines are actually used for recognising
keys/signatures automatically. Just test it yourself with changing the
delimiters and try to import/verify through the clipboard. Copy/paste
a key into a text editor, delete the "BEGIN", copy the key back into
the clipboard and try to import it. PGP should not recognize a key
present.
BTW, the changed sig delimiter is really a feature of PGP, so it
cannot be a bug ...
