I don't know what version you are using but the version I have installed works fine. In fact, it searches for mail for 3 accounts on startup & then re-checks every 20-25-30 minutes (alternating accounts) while it is online. Problems I've encountered over time are as follows: pop3 server not operating properly TB! connection gets hung up incorrect passwords, etc. Once these issues were resolved, TB! worked just fine.
