The 'Use the account default column settings' is somehow recursive *g*
Every folder with this option checked part this settings _and_ is able
to alter them. Check it for all folders you want to have the same
settings in and change column settings in one of this folders. All
other folders bind on that option will participate :-) Change one,
change all :-) There's no special preferences setting to define
'default column settings' it's done in any folder that uses it :-)
