Hi folks from 'TB!udl List', On the search for an Data sharing alternative using TB! on my Desktop *and* the Notebook I've setup both as follows: Primarily TB! is Installed on my Desktop with all Datas being stored there. Second TB! is Installed on the Notebook and as both are connected over a LAN the Notebook accesses the Datas on the HD of the Desktop. The Account (POP3) looks every 90 sec. if a mail has arrived and at the same time will send mails in the Outbox. Both Installations are as *singeluser*.
The advantage doing it this way is, that I can read and write msg on the Notebook and Desktop without Synchronizing. I know this may not be the perfect solution - anyhow it's only temporary but needed. Q: can TB! run on both systems and share the Datafile or must I close TB! on one side? Any suggestions are welcomed. Thank you! -- best regards Eddie Powered by <The Bat!> v1.53t under Windows 98 4.10 Build 1998 PGP (public) is available: www.EddieCastelli.com/pgpkey/ -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
