Doesn't this depend on the nature of the HTML?
If it's pure HTML in text form without embedded images, then the
content type would be Text/HTML.
I just looked at the headers for an HTML message that included inline
graphics and the content type was like this:
multipart/related;
boundary="----=_NextPart_000_0117_01C1116E.B24DC340";
type="multipart/alternative"
