This is a question of paradigm. If you change the name of the colour
group, is it still the same group, or would it be another entry? - I
agree that being able to change it could be usefull, very much like we
can change the name of a filter.

No, each time a filter is matched that changes the colour group, a new
colour group is assigned as the previous forgotten.

I don't think this has been mentioned, and I have been on this list
since before the introduction of colour groups. ;-)

Yes, because you are using the American English spell checker. If you
switch to British English (if you have the dictionary on your
computer), "colour" will be correct and "color" will be wrong.
