If you really wish to acclimatize yourself, practice using only the
keyboard to edit messages or any text for that matter. Hitting Alt+L
will now not initially require moving the cursor with arrow keys.
There are standard shortcut keys for navigating documents quickly and
they're definitely worth getting acquainted with. Pretty much like
touch typing is. :-)
I know. You shouldn't have to be changing how you do things to use the
TB! editor. :-) Just a suggestion though. What else can I do? :-)
