Sorry to contradict, but I have been able to read and to compose mails in Chinese ever since I started using TB (and that was v1.34). The only problem is that the viewer will not make a line break, as the whole text appears to it as one word (no spaces, you see). This makes it rather unusable for Chinese people, but has nothing to do with the character rendering. Workaround is to write emails with manual line breaks. -- Cheers, Thomas.
