The problem with the RECEIVED date is normal Joerg, so don't worry about that, you did everything right. What I did was just sort the mails by CREATION date for a month or so, and after I didn't need the older mails anymore, I changed it and now have it sorted by RECEIVED date, which is of course more accurate for your work.
