Hi, Roelof & Raj, RO> use ... an Outgoing Filter to delete the message. (Outgoing RO> filters are processed after the sending.)
I tried that. I set up an Outgoing Filter on the subject line and had the message moved to Trash. This didn't work as expected. A copy of the message was indeed moved to trash. A _second_ copy of the same message was still put into the Sent folder. Could it be that the Outgoing filter works _after_ the message has been deposited in the Sent folder? RO> Let your filter dump the info you want to send in a file ... send RO> that file in a message to yourself ... with a batch-file ... Thanks for the suggestions. I was looking for a way to get alerted about the arrival of the messages as soon as receipt had completed. This would give me the opportunity to look at the files before they were deleted. Since I've configured TB! to delete files when exited, the Scheduler would provide the information too late. Still, the method you both described could be very useful in other contexts. regards, Andy [Using The Bat! 1.53t under Windows 2000 Pro SP2 on a "made from scratch" PIII-500 MHz/384 MB RAM] -- ________________________________________________________ Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Latest Vers: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com
