As we had like incidents scattered through the last year I conclude
that some spammers use specialised mailing lists to gather addresses.
They then change their headers in such a way that the members may
think they get a legitimate message - obviously this scheme doesn't
really work, but ...

Spammers are a bit like criminals: You have to be Lazy *and* stupid to
be one.
