Good question :) The FAQ has bits and pieces in http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/Messages.html but, as far as I know, there is no systematic description. I got the editor to behave itself by trial and error, as have many other people. The editor settings are a serious weakness of TB!, being in "programmer-speak", and I believe the editor is being rewritten although not for the current beta series (1.54).
