I ran IE and noticed that my Intranet home page applet took ages to load. I also noticed that my .png graphics were not displaying. That rang a bell. I remembered about a year ago I had the same folder/message problem with THEBAT and *also* the problem with IE not displaying .png graphics. On that occasion I re-installed 5.5 and it cured the IE and THEBAT faults. (I'd assumed that THEBAT, being so good, had 'cured' itself). So I've just reinstalled IE 5.5 again and it's fixed the IE problems and...the problem in THEBAT has gone. So could it have been some corrupted shared DLL file? -- David Stone (UK) mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] The Bat! Version 1.53bis. Platform Windows 98SE 4.10.2222 Ver.
