Incredibly, frighteningly, unbelievably well.  It can, for example,
tell the difference, based on context, between "Re:" and "regarding."
It spelled "Kirsten" correctly the first time.  On the other hand,
there has never been a time when I didn't have to go over my dictation
carefully to correct things like "war" where it should be "or," or
failure to capitalize a new sentence if I waited too long to start up
after dictating "period." I find it more helpful at some times and
less at others.

I used a prior version of ViaVoice.  Aside from the fact that some
functions were incompatible with my computer, it was not as accurate
then, and took much longer to train, than Naturally Speaking.  At this
point, although I would look carefully at the latest reviews before
purchasing and although I'm generally a fan of IBM, I would prefer
Naturally Speaking.
