Hi David,
I normally select the text to be quoted and then hit F4. When the original message was in HTML, I get the reply template but no quoted text. I do not seem to have this problem when replying to non-HTML text. I do not have my wheel set up for the shortcut to F4, but I don't see where that would make a difference. Would it? Normally, hitting the reply button gives me the Reply template with all text quoted, and F4 will give me either a blank Reply template or with whatever text was selected. With HTML message, both are blank. (this reply was to your message by selecting the text to be quoted and hitting F4; works perfectly) -- Have a great day, Sam "If the dogs are barking at your heels, you know you're leading the pack." > I never experience this because I never use the reply button.
