Hi all,

as I was moving away all my personal files to samba shares, I came
across what seems to be a weird bug in The Bat!: when the mail
repository resides on a share, it is not possible to *move* a message
to another folder.

Any "Move to Folder" command in The Bat, such as ^V or dragging with
left mouse button, results in (1) the message being copied to the new
folder, (2) the message seemingly being deleted from the current
folder's message list. All seems well, but the message is not being
deleted in the old location at all: giving focus to another mail
folder and then checking back in the old mail folder, re-displays the
(supposedly moved) message in the old folder.

When a message is *deleted* in The Bat (e.g. Del key), the message
does get removed instantly. Also some folders exhibit this behavior
while others do not. This suggests that The Bat is able to perform
primitive operations on the message base, so I guess this is not an OS
bug, at least not entirely.

Is this a known bug? I can do some more checks if the issue is
important [ofcourse I'd like to use The Bat with shares, so I think it
is pretty urgent, but in the greater scheme of things it might not
be:)]

Thanks for the time,
walter
