If your whole message refers to TB's _code_, as it seems, I fully agree
with you. Let TB grow and add features and functionality to satisfy as
many users as possible as long as their use is _optional_.

If your message comes because of the thread "Signatures on mailing
lists (was: TB won't open a message)", I am the one "complaining"
about messages including a lot of superfluous stuff, not about TB
itself. My message base is currently over 500 MB, and I purge and
compress it every night, and I back it up, and I copy it to my laptop
in case the next morning I have to rush our of the office. And believe
me, it takes a significant time to do that every night.
