Hi myob,
I recently re-installed windows and TB!.
What I did was make a backup and saved that on a CD.
I re-installed windows, then TB! and dit a restore. The only nuisance
is that you have to make a dummy account first before you can restore
the backup. Delete this account after you do the restore.

Then go to the email with your confirmation of your TH! order, select
it and click on register. All field will be "magically" filled with data
except for the key password which you should have noted somewhere or
  still remeber.

And that's it. A clean install with no "hard-core user" register
  editing.

This easy and a logical flow of things.
