I don't know if this has been brought up before but I've found a fairly nice way to use TB! as a contact manager, or at the very least a nice address/phone book.
Since most the info you keep on people can be stored in TB!'s address book, which is pretty extensive, the problem for me was it was a pain in the butt working down through properties menus to get to the relevant info. It finally dawned on me to make a QT listing all the info I need at a moment's notice on anyone. Now, with TB!'s address book hooked to a global hotkey I can call it up from anywhere. Quick search to a name in a second, do a quick cntrl-enter to bring up a blank message addressed to them, type the QT name and viola! all the contact info appears nicely formatted. All in less time that it used to take me to open a contact manager and use it. May be obvious to many, but to those like me who are still finding ways to use TB! its a nice poor man's contact manager. -- Nick Danger ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.53d FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
