I don't mean to peak or frustrate you. Just extending a helping hand.
Many don't realise that the readme.txt file contains a list of all
enhancements, fixes etc. I was more answering your second question than
your first. Depending on how your question is interpreted, it could have
been construed that you hadn't seen this list.
I now understand. Pardon me.
For a better idea of what the new features have to offer without
actually fiddling with them, you have to use this list or see what you
can find in the help. As each feature interests you, you can ask here
and many will help.
The menu navigator was introduced as a means for users to help find
their way among the many menus and items. It's like a menu item search
tool. I can't access it here in XP but if I remember correctly, you type
in the search string and all the matching menu choices will appear as
you type and then you can choose the one that you want.
