On my system, the "Known" rule was already inactive. So ... I
activated it, shut down and restarted TB, deactivated the rule,
noticed that Inbox - Known is still in view, shut down and restarted
TB, noticed that the folder is still in view, gave up and deleted the
folder.

FWIW, I already have filtering to redirect each known contact into one
of over fifty folders, so the last thing I need is another folder to
clutter things up further.
