Set the View/Character Set to Shift-JIS. Works, by golly; I can actually see both the message list subject and the subject in the viewer subject line in good Japanese, on a test Shift-JIS message I sent myself from Japanese Hotmail. (sadly, the message only views with the RTV, though)
However, the setting is obviously sticky, which isn't really a problem. But upon closing TB and reopening it, the View/Character Set, while still set on Shift-JIS (I can still read the Japanese) shows 'None' is selected when you go and have a look at it. It's either an odd design, or a small bug. Can anyone confirm with this or another Character Set? -- Best, Yuki ^_^ Using The Bat! v1.60c on Windows 2000 5.0 Build 2195 Service Pack 2 mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60 / 1.60a FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]
