Is this virus the one called Klez? In the past two days
someone sent me ( or I received) a couple different
Virus. Once had a attachment file called "active.exe".
AVG did not alarm when I downloaded it but I had a good
idea that it was a virus, so when I selected the
file, preparing to save it to a location to scan AVG
alarm popped up. I never ran the execution file just
deleted it. AND promptly emptied and compressed the
trash can.

Funny thing is I have recently received a email that
said it was from mail sub system making it look like it
was a email that I had sent out, showing it was from
me. Like it had bounced back. But when it had a
attachment. So I looked to see if I had any random
messages going out ( in my sent folder ) - everything
looked normal. So I ran a completed scan with AVG and
it turned up nothing. My computer is clean. Still
doubting I went to Trends Site and am running the
"House Call" online scan. Thus far, nothing.
BUT if my machine is clean, and it seems to be, then
there is a virus out there that will send you a message
appearing to be a bounced message from your machine. It
will have attachments and I am assuming ---If you click
on them to see what they are you will be infected.

AS far as I can tell The Bat has not opened or allowed
any of these virus / worms to activate on their own.
Any information on how to double check security of The
Bat is appreciated.
Thanks,
Lynna
