There are a few things important for the filter, those are: Source: Your Inbox Target: Your tbudl folder String: Reply-To: tbudl Location: Kludges Presence: Yes Active: Must be checked Manual only: Must not be checked Since I'm checking for the string "Reply-To: tbudl" I can be sure that only messages for this list are triggered by the filter. (Unless some halfwit writes me a message and deliberately sets the reply-to to this list.) Because it's a very specific condition, the filter can be placed on top of the incoming filter list, this prevents other filters to hijack the list-messages. The options 'Active' and 'Manual only' are very important, because a non-active filter won't be run and a 'Manual Only' filter won't be run automatically.
