Hello Bat Folk.

It appears that TB! doesn't recognize my modem connections
though I may not be using the right terms as I can
get/send erratically. Intermittently TB! 'cannot find
server' either pop or SMTP. All settings/passwords are
  correct.

The following events occurred between the time I was w/o
  problems & the current situation:

  (1) I began DSL service (TB! worked flawlessly)

  (2) I was having W2K problems & re-installed W2K in a new
  location, same partition

  (3) I did not un-install TB! but re-installed it to the
  same folder

Looking @ Account Properties -> Network -> Use Account
Specific Network Settings: *only* "Connect to the Internet
Using" is available as an on/off switch. No other option
is available. There are no choices under "Dial-up Network
  Connection", etc.

  Any thoughts/suggestions/comments would be appreciated.

  TIA
