Hello Marck,

Wednesday, May 1, 2002, 3:35:55 PM, you digitally penned the following;

MDP> It doesn't. Your message would come through with a tick on the
MDP> envelope in the message list and an attachment showing a valid (or an
MDP> invalid) signature in the attachment panel.

MDP> You do need a certificate in your IE certificates repository to
MDP> perform signing. The certificate has to have been issued for your
MDP> email address and has to have been enabled for all purposes,
MDP> (especially email signing) on the "advanced" properties button in the
MDP> "Internet Options | Content | Certificates | Personal" tab.

MDP> Anyone else here think of anything I'm missing in this conversation or
MDP> am I the only one left reading this thread now? <g>

No, your not the only one... I'm still here but I turned SMIME off because so
many had trouble reading the e-mail's I signed with it. One good thing about PGP,
signing doesn't affect anyones ability to read the e-mail ( as far as I know)
no matter what version of TB! they are using. (other than adding clutter to
the page).
