Wrong.

There is a difference between something working not right and
different concepts.

Just because a Diesel does not work the same as as a car with an Otto
engine doesn't mean one of them is wrong - they are different. Just
because most of us - at least in Europe - are used to MS Word's way
doesn't mean that WordPerfect's way is wrong - it's different.

The concept behind TB!'s editor may not be the same as the one used by
many an application, but that just makes it *different*, not wrong.
Isn't it funny that lots of other programmes began to embrace the
concept of free caret lately? Look at Winword2K or WordPerfect (as
early as v7). What about DTP apps?

Even if every complaint is valid*, it doesn't mean it is common,
principally right or has to be addressed.

*Have you ever heard someone complaining of not being able to fly
because of gravity? I have. Perfectly valid, but nonetheless not
something that can be changed. And I am writing about flying without a
mechanical device.

Or "I don't like spinach" often uttered by children. The complaint is
surely valid, so what. If you are always giving in (always!) your
children will for some time at a certain age only eat chocolate. At
a later time only hamburgers and spaghetti.
