Yes - filter logging is a 1.60 addition!!! (see - we needed to know!).

Manual filters may only be applied when using the menu "Re-filter"
option. Effectively, it's the same answer - either way it's a manual
filtering operation. Only incoming message filter operations are
logged and (IIRC) only on v1.60 and later.
