I've started to receive mail from a couple of Eudora users
and I can't conveniently access attachments because Eudora
does something strange with the file names. For example,
the attachment

  installing_development_software.doc

appears as

  installing_development_software.doc;x-mac-type=42494E41;
  x-mac-creator=4D535744

and is actually stored with an extention of
".doc;x-mac-type=..." which it's makes it a bit hard to open
:-)

Eudora is using the header:

  Content-Type: application/msword; name=
  "installing_development_ software.doc; x-mac-type=42494E41;
  x-mac-creator=4D535744"

(I wrapped it above for clarity)

Any ideas on a workaround other than storing the attachment
and renaming it?

Thanks!

Steve.
