I get this error, from time to time, when downloading email. I do NOT have a clue why it happens, I am still investigating if another program in the Firewall and AV chain may be the culprit. None the less, it is impossible to close The Bat! I cannot *abort* from Connection Centre. I cannot *delete task*. Nor can I close down The Bat! Instead, I am forced to use a task manager and kill TB. In the case happening right now, I re-try the email download. It hangs on the same email as before. I use *CommView* to view what transpired. I see only the offending *Porn Spam* email and no message from the MTA of any kind to indicate closing down -- losing packets, or whatever. This leads me to believe that some running program here is the culprit. In any event, is there a way that *the programmers* could figure a way to implicitly kill a *send* or a *receive* ?? - --------- Thanks for the help ... Robert D.
