Sender looks for From: and Sender: (maybe X-Sender too), more possible
options aren't available

That would surprise me. The Return-Path contains no recipient-info
whatsoever. It's the address the message should be bounced to when
undeliverable. Some mailinglists (like this one) use a Return-Path
that can be used to deduce the original destination too, but that is
no rule and multiple ways are used.
