Nearly correct. The correct one is "-- " (that's <dash><dash><space>*
without the quotation marks).

The one you cite is what PGP makes of it, escaping any line beginning
with a <dash> by <dash><space> to not being confused with its own sig
delimiters.

You used another sig delimiter with more than two dashes.


*The <space> is actually to be followed by a carriage return/line feed
(just press <Enter> after it).
