> You're right. I had not checked the behaviour with the account tree in > focus. As a general comment to this whole thread and not just to your message... Thanks God TB is configurable enough to make my life easy. I have edited the shortcuts in "Message List Pop-Up" and changed "Move to next unread" to the single keystroke "Enter" and the "Mark as read" to "space". That way, I can just forget about all the other shortcuts? mentioned in this thread (some of them not possible on a Spanish keyboard). Ah! forgot about focus!. If focus is not on the Thread Pane (or Message List, as called in Shortcuts Editor) one or two tabs will take me to it and I can then Enter, Space, Enter, ...
