If one has a look at the FAQ, AFAIR thereis an example to make an
auto-reply for PGP-key requests which warns of such a loop and gives
the solution. which is basically what you suggest, change the
auto-replies text string in the filtered category.

BTW, "@" is not a good idea to filter upon unless the filtered
messages are going to be deleted (last filter in the row for spam).
Everyone, even people, bots and spammers that shouldn't, are getting
the "I'm out of office" message.
