Copy the account files/folders to a save place, except the account.cfg
Delete the account in TB
Create a new account.
Exit TB
Copy the saved files back to the new account.
Start TB
Now you'd be able to see the messages

What you've done now is to replace the account.cfg, since that's the
place where TB stores account specific info like passwords and
transport settings you're done now. TB has also forgotten the account
templates. (Not the folder and AB templates)
