This depends on the type of DSL connection.  On my PC, my DSL
connection is another Dial Up Networking (DUN) connection.

So:

Try Luigi's suggestion, and if this does not work, go to the Dial up
Networking line below the Local Area Connection one, and make sure the
name of the connection being used is the same as your DSL connection.
If you have the connection showing on the taskbar, you will find the
name of the connection by hovering the mouse over it.
