Hello Dierk,

True, although seemless integration is, of course, much more
convenient, at least for me. :-) And if we want to encourage others to
use PGP (many of them, I guess, are using the 7.x version), it is good
to do all we can to make things as user-friendly as possible. Or do
you think I am wrong in this point?

DH> 2. One should not *encourage* people to use HTML in e-mail.

This is also true. But even on this list we saw a number of persons
who use The Bat! but also use Microsoft' Outlook - just because once
in a while they wish to be able to write an HTML message. Some people
like to write a kind of stylish letters, and that's where HTML comes
to their aid.

For example, I was able to convince my wife that The Bat! is much more
secure than Outlook Express, but... when she writes to her family, she
is missing the possibility to add a background, some imoticons, and
the like. And what can you do about it? :-)

DH> 3. TB!'s support of PGP/MIME would also help in this situation.

Hopefully, more and more mail clients will support it as well...

Well, the situatoin with NAI's PGP 7.x is not ideal. But on the other
hand, if this version does exist and if The Bat! is already providing
support for a number of PGP versions, would it really be difficult
just to add one more plugin to support 7.x?

This is just my opinion as The Bat! user, but, of course, I may be
mistaken. So, please correct me if I am.
